19 year old Dulwich resident Amy Pitura-Riley heads “Dolly Did It”, a lovely business selling upcycled, preloved furniture, vintage items and homemade crafts.
After training in Technical Theatre at the acclaimed Brit School Amy turned her hand to refurbishing tired preloved pieces of furniture into beautiful desirable pieces, all sold at reasonable prices. The products are innovative and eco friendly whenever possible, e.g. an old tennis racket becomes a mirror, vintage china teacups hold beautiful scented candles, old vinyl records are turned into cake stands. You name it, Dolly will reinvent it!
If you are wondering where the name Dolly Did It comes from, 2 year old Amy’s dolly was ‘apparently’ responsible for spilling a pot of paint all over the carpet in the family home. Toddler Amy told her mum “Dolly Did It!”. When looking for a name for her new businesss Amy was reminded of this incident and “Dolly Did It” was born and now Dolly is applying her paint more usefully!
