Thanks so much for your support over the last year and more recently at our special Christmas Markets in Herne Hill, Stepney and Oval!
Please join us for our final Christmas Market of 2018 at Telegraph Hill, this Saturday, 22nd December… the perfect way to kick-start your Christmas!
There will be lots of lovely handmade crafts and foodie gift ideas, delicious hot food, local produce and festive tipples plus live music for everyone, workshops for kids AND a visit from Mrs Christmas… what more could you want? With FREE entry too you just can’t go wrong!
Please note that due to the extreme winds forecast we have had no choice but to cancel our markets at Alexandra Palace, Herne Hill and Wimbledon Chase this Sunday, 9th February, 2020, for health and safety reasons.
Our apologies for any inconvenience caused, unfortunately there is nothing we can do to stop ‘Storm Ciara’! We’ll be back to normal next week and hope to see you all then!
We’re pleased to announce we are re-opening Oval Farmers’ Market from Saturday, 23rd May. We have temporarily moved the market to the gardens at Montgomery Hall just 5 minutes away from the original venue. We have received many enquiries from customers and stallholders asking when we would re-open so we have put in place our plan to do just that. Rest assured we will have the following strict social distancing measures in place, similar to supermarkets and other food shops which have remained open.
• We have employed extra staff to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to. • All staff will have face masks, gloves & hand sanitiser, as will our stallholders. • We have employed extra staff to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to. We have employed extra staff to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to. • All staff will have face masks, gloves & hand sanitiser, as will our stallholders. • ONE person per household only permitted into the market. • Only 30 customers will be permitted in the market at any one time – once this number is reached there will be a one in, one out policy in place. • A maximum of 25 food only stalls will be present. • There will be NO coffee/hot drinks stalls. • Any customers queuing for stalls or outside the market will be distanced at 2 metre intervals which will be marked out – our staff will enforce this. • We would advise customers to make payment via card wherever possible. • Between 10am and 11am we will have priority shopping times for NHS workers and the elderly/vulnerable.
Please wear a face mask whilst shopping for groceries at our markets, unless you are exempt. If you see a stall has more than a few people waiting please return later to make your purchases to help maintain social distancing.
It would also be much appreciated if you chose just one person from your household to visit us to help keep numbers down.
We have hand sanitiser on-site at all our markets if required – one of our market team will be happy to help with this or answer any questions you may have (in a socially distanced way of course!)
Many thanks for your understanding and cooperation…
